Ave Verum Cantantes (avecans) is a Catholic choir and music ministry of St. Joseph the Workman Parish, founded in 2012. United by faith and a passion for music, we are committed to glorifying God through sacred song, liturgical service, and musical excellence.
Beyond our ministry, we actively engage in community outreach programs that promote education, compassion, and service. We also provide quality musical performances for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and special occasions, bringing inspiration and joy through music.
Through our music and charitable initiatives, we strive to uplift hearts, strengthen communities, and bring people closer to God.
Do you love singing? Do you want to use your talent to glorify God and touch the hearts of others through music? Ave Verum Cantantes warmly invites you to become part of our growing family. Together, let us inspire, uplift, and bring hope to others through the beauty of choral music.

Since the program began in 2012, Balik Eskwela has reached nearly 5,000 student beneficiaries. What started as a simple act of giving has grown into one of AveCans’ continuing commitments to the community.
Years of Experience
In 2026, the program once again brought smiles and hope to young learners by providing school supplies to help them begin the school year prepared and motivated. In Barangay 35 alone, 400 sets of school supplies were distributed to Grade 1 to Grade 3 students, as part of our continuing effort to reach children who need support the most.
